Special Bus Tour Offers Great Fun and Entertainment Friday Morning of Convention. Join us Friday, June 2 for a fun bus tour of Hays! Hays Chamber will offer a short, guided tour to places of interest followed by a visit to a beautiful church to enjoy the sounds of the huge pipe organ. We then move to downtown Hays for some great shopping or a stop for the local’s favorite Charcuterie Board and wine slushy. If shopping is not up your alley, join us as we make our very own wall hangings at The Niche!
Have fun with friends while you make something special for your home or for your children or grandchildren! The best part will be doing it with fellow Lions! You will be responsible for charges for your supplies. Cost for the tour is $20. Registration is on the convention registration form that is below.

We are excited and honored to host our special guest and convention speaker, International President Brian Sheehan and his wife Lori, from Minnesota! This is a wonderful opportunity for Lions from Kansas and neighboring states to spend time with our International President. He is an amazing speaker and person!
The Kansas Lions Band camp will be held at Fort Hays State University and you will be able to see them perform on Saturday morning at the beautiful Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center. Thank you for sponsoring these students for something they will remember for the rest of their lives!
Friday, June 2 will be state committee and foundation meetings, the Fourth State Council Meeting, along with fantastic seminars and amazing guest speakers. We will have information booths and lots of fun activities along the way! And don’t forget the Jazz Concert at FHSU!
Friday, June 2 Bus Tour: If you are not involved in meetings, join us for some fun in Hays. Pick up at 8:30 a.m. sharp at the Midnight Ranch. You will be treated to a tour of historic Hays followed by a stop at St. Joseph’s Church for a tour and hopefully hear them play the huge pipe organ! Then to downtown Hays where you can sign up to make your own wall hanging (Go Chiefs! but you will choose your design) or shop the wonderful downtown merchants. We will have discounts just for you. Or…head over to Paisley Pear for a wine slushy! You will be back at the Midnight Ranch at 11:30 am.
Saturday, June 3 will be full of great seminars, programs, the Kansas Lions Band Performance food, and fun. The Saturday night banquet will feature our guest speaker IP Brian Sheehan! We will end our event with casino type games, and you will win/purchase convention money to use for bids at our auction afterward.
